The VFW Post 2894 sponsored Bataan Death March Memorial Walk is a time to honor not only the survivors of those who died in Bataan but all World War II veterans and families. The purpose of this annual event is to honor and remember all those who endured one of the most harrowing events in US and Filipino history.

Our post commemorates the life of Staff Sergeant Jonathan Dozier, US Army, who was killed in Iraq, July 9th, 2008. He is the son of LTC (R) Carl Dozier, Post 2894 Past Commander.
We strongly support our veteran comrades who paid the ultimate price in operations or passed of natural causes.
A core mission of VFW Post 2894 is to"Honor the Fallen by Helping the Living". We have built wheel chair ramps, modified homes for handicap access, provided power wheel chairs and found sources for roofs, HVAC and provided assistance acquiring Veterans benefits.
Current and former service members of all military services are eligible for VFW membership who have served in a foreign war, insurrection, expedition or SSBN Nuclear deterrent patrols with award of the appropriate campaign or service medal.
Post 2894 has a very active Auxiliary and meets in conjunction with the VFW meeting. Membership is open to spouses, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, and children of VFW eligible members.
